Lyn is a Melbourne artist who has been painting throughout her lifetime. From her early training, she has enjoyed colour field painting, working on huge canvases and experimenting with blocks of colour and light to create a quiet, emotional and meditative space for the viewer.

Venturing into landscape feels like a place of new beginnings, a chance for rejuvenation and connection with oneself. Lyn is drawn to the particular spirit of our deserts, the sweeping vistas of mountain ranges and the play of light across distant horizons and open seas. She is inspired and captivated by street scenes of medieval cities, villages, waterways and canals, another way of connecting to place.
